Ministering To Our Little Ones
(Ages 0-12 during all services and most outreaches)
MINISTRY CONTACT PASTOR ANTHONY BONILLA Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these” (Mark 10:14). The Bible clearly teaches that God loves children and is concerned with their welfare. It is His desire that they would grow in the knowledge of Him.
Whose responsibility is it to see that they grow?
God has ordained the church into existence, yet He commanded parents to be responsible for their children’s growth. It is the parent who will one day have to give an account of how well they handled the task. Calvary Chapel Honolulu realizes that this is a difficult job, but we are committed to coming alongside parents in training their children. This is why we have made a great effort to: • Locate good teaching tools; • Equip loving and nurturing teachers; • Provide for a safe, healthy environment. We want to provide our children with a wonderful place in which they can worship and learn about Jesus.
What about kids in the Sanctuary during service?
We feel the best way we can serve the whole family is by providing a good quality Children’s Ministry – one which teaches our kids at a level they can more easily understand. At the same time, this will provide for a setting in the Sanctuary in which the adults can worship the Lord and have time to learn without distraction, so that, among other things, they might be better equipped to raise their children.
Our special Mother’s Room
At the back of the Sanctuary, we have provided a room for moms to use during the months in which they are caring for newborns and infants. It is a comfortable chamber, complete with TV monitor, allowing for privacy, while still maintaining a connection with the service. If your child is ill, or for some other reason cannot attend Sunday School, they may sit with you in the Courtyard where we have TV monitors set up under cover by the Bookstore.
Our Commitment to You
We are firmly committed to helping families grow in their knowledge of Jesus Christ by providing direction, tools and encouragement for parents in their role of raising their children for the Lord. The position of Calvary Chapel is to assist parents, and not to replace them. May God richly bless you as you collaborate with us in this ministry to our precious children.
“For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in.” Matthew 25:35

Calvary Chapel Christian Preschool (Pre-K, 3-5 years)
At Calvary Chapel Christian Preschool, we know that selecting a day care or preschool provider can be an awesome task. It will be one of the most vital decisions you will make, because the early years of care are critical to your child’s long-term development. At our Aiea campus Preschool (located at 98-1016 Komo Mai Drive), you will receive the best care for your child in a setting where your child’s spiritual, emotional, physical, social and intellectual development will be nurtured. We enroll children from ages 3 through 5 years. We maintain a low teacher-to-child ratio, to ensure each child receives quality attention and care. Our facility is air-conditioned with access to a wonderfully-equipped playground.

Calvary Chapel Christian School (K-12)
Parents and educators today are greatly concerned and deeply disturbed by the direction in which our public schools are headed. Calvary Chapel of Honolulu shares that concern.
A person’s most formative time of growth is during the Kindergarten and early Elementary schools years. This is a critical time, when emotional, moral, spiritual, and academic development takes place. It is with this in mind that we have determined to establish a Christian school.
It has been said: “Sow a thought, reap an action; sow an action, reap a habit; sow a habit, reap a character; sow a character, reap a destiny.” CCCS has researched and adopted the very best elements available in Christian education. We are committed to seeing your child become the person God desires him or her to be, and to realize His very best in their lives. We look forward to partnering with you in this eternal endeavor.

Worship Ministry
MINISTRY CONTACT PASTOR REUBEN BURKE The Worship Ministry aims to meld music and words to express the greatness of God. We desire to cultivate the decision of the believers to worship, to cause them to be more aware of the nearness of God, and to raise up the next generation to lead well. In conjunction with the Worship Ministry, the RISE Youth Worship Ministry is open to teens with musical artistry and devotion to the Lord, allowing them to minister to their peers and grow in their gifts. Check our events calendar or bulletin for upcoming worship conferences, rehearsals and gatherings.
