Thank you for your interest in Calvary Chapel of Honolulu's ministry opportunities. The list below demonstrates the variety of opportunities for service, study and fellowship. If you would like to take part in any of the meetings, you are welcome to attend without prior notice. If you would like to become part of a ministry team, you must have a strong, committed relationship to Jesus Christ and a commitment to Calvary Chapel's philosophy of ministry. |As We Gather Television/Radio Program||Pastor Jake O'Neill||Pastor Bill's Television/Radio Bible-teaching program on various statios locally in Hawaii, on the mainland, and on the internet. Check at church for details on current schedule.|
|Media Ministry||Pastor Jake O'Neill||During services: Sound Boards, Camera Operators, Video Directing, Projection Screen Operator, Video Recording, Audio Recording, CD Duplication, CD Library Table.
Not during services: CD Duplication, Television Program Editing.
|AWANA Club||Zendo & Heather Heshiki||Dynamic fun for children ages 3-12. One of the best evanglism tools for reaching children, incorporates fun & games and Scripture memorization. Meets in the Gym on Sundays from 5:30-7:30pm. On break during the summer.|
|Calvary Cafe||Volunteer Staff||Our church's cafe, open Mon-Fri from 9am-5pm, Sat from 9am-1pm, and on Sundays and Wednesday evenings before and after all services. Serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. We seek to foster koinonia fellowship even when our worship services are pau...so come early or stick around later for a meal with other believers!|
|Calvary Chapel Christian PreSchool||Mrs. Perla Pelayo||Loving care for children 3-5 years old. Preschool classrooms are located below the courtyard and bookstore.|

|The Chapel Store Bookstore||Mike Nakamoto||Our church's bookstore, open Mon-Fri from 9am-5pm, Sat from 9am-1pm, and on Sundays and Wednesday evenings before and after all services.|
|Children's Ministry and Nursery Care||Mrs. Doreen Sokolowski||Ministering to our little ones - Infants-6th grade - during all services and most outreaches.|
|Christian Business Leaders Fellowship||David Skedeleski||A fellowship specifically for business owners and managers, to encourage one another in Christian business ethics, etc. Currently meets on the last Thursday of the month at 7pm at SurfCo Hawaii. Watch in the buletin for this month's date or call the church office at 524-0844.|
|Disciples in Training Class||Errol Carey||A free 12-week course in the foundational teachings of the Christian faith. Check in the bulletin for day, time and location.|
|The Gap Ministry||Pastor James Markwith||Men's prayer teams meeting one-half hour before all services to intercede for the ministry - also meets Saturday mornings at 7:30am with Pastor Bill.|
|Home Fellowships||Varies||Small-group meetings in homes around the island, taught by various leaders within the church. A great way to meet people here at CCH. Check at church for current locations.|
|Hospital Visitation Ministry||Pastoral Staff||Reaching out to people in the hospital, as well as their families.|
|KLHT Radio 1040AM||Pastor Jake O'Neill||The best in Christian teaching, worship music, and news of interest to believers, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, at 1040 on the AM dial. Listen live online at www.klight.org. Studio is located below The Chapel Store.|
|Mens Ministry||Pastor James Markwith||Includes periodic "Na Kane Pono" classes for men, Saturday morning Prayer Meetings (7:30am), Prayer Breakfasts, and other special events.|
|Missions Ministry||Includes special times of prayer (at the Pallisades Home Fellowship on Thurs at 7pm), meetings with our missionaries when they are in town, and updates to help the group keep in touch and care for our missionaries on the field.|
|Most Excellent Way||Robert Salud||Bible study, fellowship and encouragement for those seeking victory over life-impacting addictions. Check the bulletin for current day, time and location.|
Prayer Chain /
24-hour emergency prayer at 348-1180. You can be a part of the chain, as well as make use of it in emergency situations.

|Prison Ministry||Gary Kawamura||Reaching out to prison inmates and their families with the love of Christ.|
|River of Life Mission||Trevor & Susie Lidge||Downtown Honolulu Mission - we minister once a month by serving dinner and hosting a Bible study. Located at 101 N. Pauahi Street (between River & Maunakea Sts).|
|Security & Parking Ministry||Pastor James Markwith||Safeguarding the campus during all major events.|
|Ushers Ministry||Pastor Ed Arcalas||Greeting, handing out bulletins, collecting the offering, and assisting the congregation during services to maintain an atmosphere conducive to hearing God's Word.|
|Womens Ministry||Danita Stonebraker||Various series and special events happening throughout the year for the women at Calvary Chapel and beyond.|
|Worship Ministry||Singers and musicians facilitating the congregation's time of praise and worship.|
